We are very excited at Old Glossop CC as 2021 will finally see the inaugural season of women’s cricket down at Manor Park Road after it was put on hold in 2020.
Firstly, we are very proud to announce that Alice Banks has taken on the role of ladies team manager. Alice has a wealth of experience in cricket having followed her father, a certain Mr Ian Chipchase from Old Glossop CC to Derbyshire CC & everywhere in between. We would like to express a really warm welcome to Alice & let her know that the club is in full support of her and the ladies team.
Secondly, we are now on the look out for players to join this exciting milestone in O.G’s history. Sunday, 2nd May we will be running a ladies softball training session at 1pm. If you are interested in getting involved in ladies cricket, please head down to the ground and give it a go. Open to girls and women aged 13+.
