We are delighted to share the news that we have signed Callan Kean as our overseas amateur for the 2024 season!
Callan Kean (19) is a highly impressive, up and coming batsman from Sydney, Australia.
Callan is a fluent left handed top order batsman currently playing for the famous Penrith Cricket Club in NSW Premier Cricket.
Having debuted in First Grade in 2023/24 the Aussie is continuously improving week in week out. This season, he is a multiple century maker in both red and white ball for the 2nd Grade side which includes a remarkable 168 not out having carried his bat for 96 overs.
This season so far in Australia, the young run machine, has notched up over 600 runs in all cricket and is averaging over 70 for the 2nd Grade side (hence the 1st Grade call up).
He will be a fantastic addition to our squad and no doubt will continue to help us progress on and off the field. We look forward to welcoming Callan to the club in April!!
