Established in 1901 Old Glossop Cricket Club have been playing in the local leagues ever since. Located on Manor Park Road in the village of Old Glossop. For more history on Old Glossop click here or if you want to see our list of honours click here.

 

We currently are members of the Derbyshire & Cheshire Cricket League. At Old Glossop we provide an opportunity for anyone from age 5 upwards to come and experience playing cricket. We run 3 weekend senior teams, 5 junior teams (2 U11’s sides, U13s, U15s, U19s) & a Ladies team.

 

Our 1st XI & 2nd XI play Saturday cricket in Division 1 & 2 of the DCCL. Our 3rd XI play in the DCCL Sunday League. We warmly welcome new members whatever their abilities or standard. Senior practice is held on Thursday evenings during the summer. Indoor winter nets usually take place from February in the run up to the new season. If you are interested in coming along contact one of the team captains. We’re always keen to hear from any potential new players. 

 

We have a very strong junior section managed by qualified coaches. Training sessions are held on Tuesday for U19s/U15s. Friday nights we welcome children of any ability (5-13) to experience cricket in a fun and family environment via our All Stars & Dynamos Sessions. 

 

The Ladies team compete in the DCCL ladies soft ball cricket league. Training for the ladies is held on Monday nights. If you are interested in playing ladies soft ball cricket please contact out ladies captain.

 

We have a fully functional, well stocked bar with plenty of outdoor & indoor seating. So even if you're not a playing member you can enjoy a good drink whilst enjoying some of the cricket on show!
